Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. In the last few episodes of the serial it was seen that Abhir starts missing Abhinav and refuses to come to terms with the fact that his father is dead. 

After Abhir gets diagnosed with depression, Abhimanyu and Akshara plead with their families to come together for the kid. Today’s episode starts with the Birla and Goenka families spending time with each other while making rakhis as they keep an eye on a sullen Abhir. They try to cheer him up by asking him what kind of rakhi he wants. Watching everyone bond over making rakhis Muskaan gets emotional as she remembers Abhinav. Further in the episode it will be seen that Abhir will start missing Abhinav. He will get emotional seeing his father’s photo and hide inside a cupboard where he will fall asleep. Akshara and Abhimanyu will start panicking and try to find him. Akshara will notice Abhir’s blanket outside the cupboard and she will find him there. As Abhir wakes up, the concerned parents explain to him how sleeping in a cupboard is not safe and try to convince him to come out and sleep on the bed. Abhir refuses them. Manish comes to the room to ask what is happening and Akshara points at Abhir. He sympathises with the kid. It will also be seen that Kairav will try his best to make Muskaan understand that Abhinav dying wasn’t Abhimanyu’s fault and that she should move one. She says that she won’t and will hold the grudge against the doctor until the day she is alive. Akshara breaks down in front of Abhinav’s photo and shows him the sweater she made for him like every year. She remembers how they would celebrate their anniversaries every year. In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Akshara challenges a few boys to play football with her family. As Abhimanyu questions her decision she states that she is doing this for her son.
